Collin Schlicht guides the Waters of SE for both Musky and multi-species anglers. “Sharing knowledge
and teaching techniques or technology to new or experienced-anglers is always my focus. No matter
how many fish we catch, I want to make sure you had a great time and learned something new,” says
Collin. Over 20 years of chasing musky has led to over 1000 caught and released. When not guiding he
competes in PMTT and local tournaments – acheiving multiple 1 st , 2 nd , and top 10 finishes. Check out
Collin’s website or give him a call to get more info on guided fishing trips and locations.
Walleye runs are over for us in Wisconsin, but the post-spawn bite for females has been great! Lake
Michigan tributaries have produced consistently on Rip N Raps and Hair Jigs. In Waukesha County big
Smallmouth bass are on staging areas, outside of spawning grounds and occasionally pushing up on
structure. Crappies can also be found and easily targeted right now. Find good weeds or breaks where
good weeds come in early, look for warmer water, and use your electronics to locate large schools at
this time of the year. Prespawn Largemouth can be caught as well. Check small/shallow arms, bays, and
canals that warm quickly.
