NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) batteries are designed specifically for portable fishing electronics. These batteries offer a higher energy density, allowing them to pack more power into a smaller, lighter form factor.

NMC batteries are NOT intended for permanent on-board or boat installation. ALWAYS remove the battery after use and bring it indoors. Charge ONLY indoors and at temperatures between 32∘F and 80∘F.

If you require a battery for permanent, on-board boat installation, you MUST use a LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery (either 12.8V or 16V). LiFePO4 batteries can be safely charged on board with the proper waterproof marine charger.
